The 2023 Big 6 is going to be a BIG one! Come down and watch WA’s six top athletes compete over a range of events inconjunction with UWALAC competition! With inclusion of all comers Community Relay (4 by 400m) to contend for the Wheeler-Foreman Trophy , this year’s Big 6 is not to be missed.
The Big 6 events are held within the UWA Little Athletics program, with the program details to be annouced soon. Full timetable is below and start lists can be viewed accessbile here once confirmed.

Showcase events to include: 60m, 100m (mixed Para), 300m, 1000m, Long Jump (women and men), Discus (men) and Javelin (women ). Enjoy all the track and field action, plus a DJ, bouncy castle and a visit from the big man in red.

MARSHALLING | Please see the uwa marshall at the Athlete Tent (next to the 100m track) to marshall 10 minutes prior to the start of your event.
UNIFORM | Athletes are encouraged to wear their club uniforms but it is not compulsory. Track athletes will be given a Big 6 colour singlet to compete in. Please return the singlet to the Athlete Tent following your race.
RULES | Athletes will receive 6 attempts in field events. Normal competition rules apply to all events except the specific rules below:
IMPLEMENTS | Athletes are welcome to bring their own.
VOLUNTEERS | We welcome any assistance at the event sites. If you have any parents or supporters who'd like to assist please let us know.
VIP TENT | Athletes and their support crew & family are welcome and encouraged to join us in the VIP tent for refreshments.
PRESENTATIONS | Presentations will take place as soon as possible following your event. Presentations will be made on the podium in front of the shed/container area at McGillivray.
PRIZE MONEY | Prize money can be collected (via cheque) from Club Treasurer Ben Chamberlain from the VIP tent following presentations. Prize money is awarded $150 for first place, $100 for second place and $75 for third place. In the event of a tie, athletes will receive 50% each.
