UWA Athletics Club are hosting out annual King and Queen of the hill cross country event on Saturday the 6th of June 2020.
The 5.7km course will commence at the Ecology Centre car park and finish at the top of Reabold hill. See the map posted below.
Athletes can enter individually for the full course, or as a relay team of two (mixed sex allowed, must be of the same club or independent).
Athletes registered with Athletics WA for the 2018-19 season are already eligible to compete, at a fee of $5 per athlete. Entries will be taken be on the day, payable in cash or by eftpos.
Non-members aged 12 years and over are encouraged to become an Athletics WA Member for the 2020 Winter season for just $10 (this can be done online prior to the event) and pay $5.00 per athlete on the day.
– Club members must wear their club uniforms
– Public toilets are accessible and located at perry lakes reserve
– Parking is located on Perry Lakes Drive, Tuart carpark on Perry Lakes Drive, Camel Lake carpark, the most southern along Perry Lakes Drive
– Getting there with public transport: The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority actively supports Travelsmart methods of travelling. Transperth bus route 81 travels along Oceanic Drive near the Western Australian Ecology Centre daily. Visit the Transperth website or call 13 62 13 for more information.
